The founder and leader of the group has been involved in the New York Downtown music scene since
the late 70?s, making his debut on tenor saxophone in the original Lounge Lizards.
He went on to create the group Konk and produced the groundbreaking singles  "Your Life" and "Konk  Party" .
He then went on to work with legendary producer Francois Kevorkian at Axis Studios,
honing his skills at the mixing console, and working with many of the largest stars and producers of the last decade.
In the mid 90's Vlcek again moved towards creating music and founded the group Abstract Truth to pursue his dream -
combining the flair and brilliance of live musicians with the wizardry and associations he developed from his studio experience.
